New Business 7.1 New Applications 7.1.1 PL.2023.21 Report for A-01-23 for Kathy and Wayne Dietrich The Deputy Secretary-Treasurer noted that there has been no request for deferral or withdrawal of the application. Further, that notice of this Variance, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 197/96, made under the Planning Act, was given on March 13, 2023, by ordinary mail to all property owners within 60 metres of the property which is subject to the application and to all the required agencies. Notice was also posted on the Subject Lands and the Township’s website. No members of the public registered with the Clerk to comment on the application. John Tennant, Agent for the Applicants, attended and spoke on behalf of the applicant. He noted the application is to allow for a swimming pool with a 4.5 meter setback. He

It has been demonstrated that Application A-01-23 for Kathy & Wayne Dietrich meets the two tests set out in subsection 45(2)(a)(i) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as it represents appropriate development and desirable use of the land and will not result in undue adverse impacts on the surrounding properties and neighbourhood. As such, it is recommended that Application A-01-23 be approved. Approved 7.1.2 PL.2023.22 Consent Report for Application B-03-23 for Terry Holdaway The Deputy Secretary-Treasurer noted that there has been no request for deferral or withdrawal of the application. Further, that notice of this Severance, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 197/96, made under the Planning Act, was given on March 13, 2023, by ordinary mail to all property owners within 60 metres of the property which is subject to the application and to all the required agencies. Notice was also posted on the Subject Lands and the Township’s web site. No members of the public registered with the Clerk to comment on the application. Terry Holdaway was in attendance and spoke to the application. Rebecca Elphick, Planner from J.L. Richards, presented an overview of the report. Committee members requested clarification on condition 6 regarding the road widening. The Intermediate Planner provided clarification indicating the road widening is to be along County Road 1, if permitted under the provisions of the Planning Act.
